I walked to work recently and my eyes chanced upon a tiny, tiny spray of little bitty pink flowers. It made me really stupidly happy.

Less than a month until I'm moved and in school. My dad keeps commenting on how I won't be able to afford things that cost less than two dollars (like wheat noodles and (store brand) soymilk) and that makes me really mad. The worst thing is my inability to keep my mouth shut, at all. He makes me mad, yes, but I can't seem to stop myself from voicing it, or bringing up the current issue with my mother. I also make a lot of remarks that I think are innocent or light-hearted and that starts a lot of fights. It's hard to tell what sets them off sometimes, and I don't mean to, I'm trying to tie up all my loose ends and such but apparently I instigate a whole lot and I don't know how not to. And then, once I sense a problem, I have to keep talking until the affected parties are happy again. I can't keep my mouth shut, ever.

Another Big Fat Problem of mine is getting really excited about things, talking about them a whole lot to someone who doesn't "get it"/ doesn't care/ actually does have no idea what I'm talking about. I always have this need to tell people things because they make ME happy and then I feel guilty when I realize I've spent their time blabbing about pokemon or my little ponies or that butterfly I just saw.

To summarize: I need to learn how to shut up, but it's difficult.
